Enjoy the beautiful trail from either the Lower Spring Lake Park Reserve Trailhead (Archery Trail) for a 28 mile ride that includes a beatiful ride through the Prairie with some spectacular wild flowers in bloom right now or start at Schaar's Bluff Trailhead for a 19 mile ride. The ride is out to Hastings and a lovely loop around Hastings where you will enjoy some wonderful paved trails that take you for a ride to see the water fall, the riverfront, the levee and then back the same way you came.
There is an option to take a break at Dunn Brothers and next door is an ice cream shop (that opens at noon). If you are not interested in going to the coffee shop when you reach Bailey Street continue straight to 8 street instead of turning left on 10th street.

Great ride! Lots of butterflies in addition to the wildflowers!
It was Beautiful!
What a great ride! Thank you for creating it! Plan to do it again several times!!
What a pleasant ride! Great scenery and, for the most part, nice trails. A few areas were rather rough, but often the road was a viable option.
Thanks for posting this ride!
Love this ride
Lovely route
I have been slow to try these self paced rides. Today’s ride taught me what I have been missing. I signed into biking with GPS, felt secure in my directions, and reveled in such a quiet beautiful ride. I will be doing this one again. Thank you all.
Thanks Haggith, Beautiful ride
I really liked the trail - beautiful overlooks and good quality paving. The residential loop wasn't as exciting - I probably wouldn't repeat that part.
Fantastic Ride! Spring Lake Park in late summer is gorgeous with all the flowers!

Fantastic ride! Most of this route was new to me. I have hiked in Spring Lake Park but never biked. Great bike trail!
Loved this trail!
