Start near the Historic Fort Snelling and follow the trails to downtown Saint Paul. Enjoy the views at Harriet Island park and continue to the view point by the Saint Paul Airport. Return to the Wabasha Bridge and cross the river to start your return on the northside of the river. On the way the route takes you by the Landmark Center, the library and Ordway Center in downtown, then continue on Exchange St. to see the Alexander Ramsey House and Irving park.
Back down to the river to ride along the river back to the starting point via the Ford bridge.

Note: the route takes you on Fillmore Ave to the airport and it is a little bumpy. If you want to avoid the bumps take Plato Blvd out and back to the airport.

SInce the parking lot at Fort Snelling is under construction you can park on Bloomington Road by the Athletic Fields.

If you want a 20 mile option skip the trip to the airport.
