For riders who want a slightly swifter pace, this is your ride. While not crazy-fast, we keep moving because we don't want to miss out on the potluck.
Celebrate the HBC Spring kickoff with a leisurely relaxed ride. We will head out at 9:30 from Burnes Park to the North Cedar Lake Regional Trail, stopping for a bathroom and conversation break at Bde Maka Ska and returning on the South Cedar Lake Regional trail to enjoy a group potluck.
This is the draft 20-mile 2026 Ride Hiawatha route starting from Davanni's so it's 27 mi.

After the ride, enjoy HBC's Annual Spring Fling celebration.
Closed trails are reopening today after long painful closures. The route is planned to ride on the newly reopened North Cedar Lake Trail, the Kenilworth Trail and the new tunnel under Plymouth Ave.
